An unabashedly girly-girl store with Southern charm and mini-cupcakes!

Texas-born actresses Jeanette Chivvis and Kelley West decided to open their own store while waiting for their big breaks in acting. The pastel walls and antique armoires overflowing with feminine clothes make the shop feel like a chick-lit novel come to life; In the back, shabby-chic window shutters overlook the register near a huge, cozy couch. Shoppers often head straight for the shoes, if not distracted by the coffee tables, on which vintage couture necklaces spill out of jewelry boxes. Clothing labels like Trina Turk, Loomstate, Lia Kes and Lu Lu Lame are fit for a Dixie Chick—fun and flirty, but still edgy enough for LA. Near the front of the store, clothes and accessories are piled into the "Sugar Babies" corner, and a beautifully rusted candlestand holds the collection of handbags. As proper Southern hostesses, the girls don't want shoppers to leave on empty stomachs. The store sells delicious mini-cupcakes (dubbed "sugar cakes") that come in 18 flavors, including strawberries and cream, lemon-raspberry, strawberry lemonade and candy cane. Even after the shopping euphoria wears off, the sugar high keeps going.
