Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly HillsWell, it's actually kind of a dump--kidding, kidding ![]() The name is synonymous with a sort of impeccable finery, as is Beverly Hills. Expectations are not subverted when these two names come together.Sixteen floors. 285 rooms and suites--and 285 balconies. And much like the city of LA, a unique and specific hierarchy is in place. The third floor houses the moderate rooms; three through nine are home to the superior rooms. Deluxe rooms (those with the best view) and premier rooms (often in corners with wraparound balconies) are spattered throughout, as are several levels of suites, including some that are one-of-a-kind. The Industry is alive and well here; there's always a magazine interview taking place over breakfast, or a press conference going on upstairs, or a star traipsing through the lobby, sunglasses over eyes, en route to one of the aforementioned one-of-a-kind suites. But our favorite bit of celeb trivia: "Beverly Hills 90210"'s Luke Perry got married here in 1993--and snuck out the back of the reception room to avoid the swarming paparazzi.![]() Nothing like the rooms looking over the the center gardens at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Relaxing on that balcony is like heaven............ Posted 10/08/07 08:04PM PDT by Nick Zaferes
