This B&B is quintessential South Pasadena: a quirky theme, a rose garden, and walking distance to an adorable town center.

The enormous Seurat mural outside is the first hint of what's to come: A homey bed and breakfast with 10 unique rooms, each decorated to evoke an artist or art period. The tiny, atmospheric Van Gogh Room is a near-perfect reproduction of the artist's famous "The Bedroom"; the Expressionist Suite pays homage to the colors of the era with an enormous, somewhat startling red Jacuzzi tub. Repeat guests are known for adamantly demanding their favorite rooms; the Italian Room, which has a sleeping porch, is a popular choice. Once they've gotten their way, guests enjoy breakfast and 4pm tea in the fuchsia dining room or on the front porch overlooking the rose garden. If all that quiet and relaxation becomes too much to bear, there are six restaurants with three blocks of the inn, as well as a Gold Line stop, making both Old Pasadena and Downtown just a quick ride away.
